In this course you will learn the respon­sibility of QA/QC in the construction in­dustry specifically and direct to the point, how to develop quality plan, method statement, inspect, audit and engage root cause analysis develop metrics in or­der to monitor the effective implementa­tion of work performed. Generate specific and general information on the aspect of Quality.The Construction industry deals with a number of materials as; Cement, Fine Aggregate, Coarse Aggregate, Water, Fresh concrete, Reinforcing bars, Brick, Bitumen, Soil and so on. It becomes the responsibility of a QA/QC Engineer to inspect the quality of all these materials which arrives on the site and certify them based on standards.

Non-destructive testing (NDT) is another established area in QA/QC. There are advanced techniques for performing NDT ON CONCRETE STRUCTURES & NDT ON STEEL STRUCTURES.
